Watch the film of an improbable journey.  Rupert and Jan Grey meet tea-wallahs and maharajahs, dodge tribal conflicts and battle with border officials. Their destination: the biennial Chobi Mela festival in Bangladesh run by world renowned activist and photographer Shahidul Alam.

The webinar will be an opportunity to talk to Rupert and Jan Grey about this remarkable trip.  Q&A will be moderated by Sophie Ibbotson.

Sophie is a tourism and economic development consultant and writer with an interest in emerging destinations and post-conflict zones and a member of the RSAA Council.

She is the founder of Maximum Exposure Ltd, the author of five Bradt Travel Guides, and Uzbekistan’s Ambassador for Tourism.  She also once drove a tuk-tuk from Darjeeling to Bishkek, but that’s another story…
