Professor Andrew Kingsnorth will recount his travels to, and practice in, remote and challenging environments including the Caucasus, Kazakhstan, Tajikistan and Mongolia. An esteemed surgeon and latterly Professor of Surgery at Plymouth University Hospitals, Professor Kingsnorth was founder of Operation Hernia, an international medical charity.
Mr Jon Anderson, a medical student, will discuss his JP-T project work with Afghan Mother and Child Rescue against the backdrop of his military career and longstanding involvement in Afghanistan.
