Jamie Maddison is an accomplished Explorer, nominated National Adventurer of the Year, equestrian Long Rider and Content Strategist. He first cut his teeth in the world of journalism working for the British rock-climbing magazine Climber. Since that time, he has mounted a host of exploratory expeditions across the Central Asian republics of the former Soviet Union, including: riding horses 800 miles across the central plains of Kazakhstan, running seven and a bit marathons across an uncrossed desert, embedding with environmental protestors in Armenia, exploring unvisited valleys in Kyrgyzstan’s Tien Shan mountains, and living with indigenous communities in both Tajikistan and Mongolia.

Lecture starts at 1.15pm and finishes by 2.30pm. The sandwich lunch, from 12.30pm, must be booked by 2.30pm the day before.
